Frequently Asked Questions

LAB Portal is a unified case management and operations hub for KYC onboarding, AML compliance, and client lifecycle management. It serves two audiences on a single platform: internal teams (operations, compliance, and client service) and external, customer-facing users (for example, financial advisers, planners, and sales staff). LAB Portal is white-labelled to each organisation, so both audiences work in a branded environment tailored to their role. Case views display verification outcomes, risk scores, and fraud signals alongside client data, enabling informed compliance decision-making without switching between systems.
Internal users (operations, compliance, and client service teams) manage case throughput, handle exceptions, and own the fulfilment side of onboarding and ongoing customer due diligence. External users (advisers, planners, sales staff, and other customer-facing roles) use LAB Portal to initiate client engagement and shepherd customers through the early stages of the journey. A typical adviser-led flow starts with the external user launching a new LAB Engage session (onboarding or customer due diligence), drafting or assisting the customer through the engagement process, and submitting the case. From there, internal operational teams take over for fulfilment, exception handling, and ongoing case management. White-label configuration keeps the interface, branding, and permissions appropriate to each user type.
LAB Portal provides a centralised command centre for all digital onboarding and client lifecycle management activities. Configurable KYC case management dashboards surface what matters most, allowing compliance and operations teams to monitor case progress across an entire client portfolio. User roles and permissions ensure the right people see the right information, while progress tracking and automated notifications keep onboarding workflows moving. Case views display verification outcomes, risk scores, and fraud signals alongside client data for fast, informed review. LAB Portal's case management also operates on an open ingestion model: cases can be created automatically from LAB workflows (LAB Engage and LAB Verify), pushed in via API from external systems such as transaction monitoring or ongoing screening tools, or created manually by users for ad hoc compliance matters. This means LAB Portal can act as the governance and review layer across existing compliance infrastructure, not only cases that originate inside LAB.
LAB Portal's document and evidence Repository gives compliance teams access to all client documents and verification evidence from a single secure location. The structured document uploader organises KYC submissions by type and status, making it easy to locate records during compliance reviews or regulatory audits. Every document is encrypted at rest and in transit, with comprehensive audit trails tracking who accessed what and when. Evidence from identity verification, biometric checks, and AML screening is stored alongside application materials for complete case visibility and audit readiness.
